VOID/BREAKER 1.0: what Steam owners and Game Pass players get
The planned November 4 release brings different routes into the shooter. Early Access ownership, demo progress and subscription access answer different questions.
VOID/BREAKER's November 4 move to version 1.0 does not require Steam Early Access owners to buy the game again. Playstack says those owners receive the full-release update at no extra cost, plus an automatic Steam Supporter's Pack at launch. Xbox separately lists the shooter for Game Pass on November 4. A subscription listing and a Steam ownership bonus are different offers.
- Steam owner
- Check the pre-1.0 entitlement
- Game Pass
- Check access separately
- Demo player
- Progress is its own question

Already bought it on Steam?
The practical first step is to check your existing library. Playstack's August ownership notice explicitly included 1.0 among the updates existing owners would receive without another purchase. Its October launch announcement then tied the Supporter's Pack to buying during Early Access, before 1.0.
The pack is described as Steam-only at launch. Playstack also identifies Joe Ford's soundtrack as part of it, while saying the soundtrack will be sold separately. The useful distinction is between updating the game you own and obtaining an extra soundtrack product. You do not need to rebuy the base game just because its release label changes.
Played the demo instead?
Playstack says demo progress transfers to the full game. That is useful if you tried its combat before committing: the announcement does not ask you to throw away that demo progress and start over simply because 1.0 arrives.
Keep that promise within its stated context, however. The Steam announcement is not a cross-platform save-transfer specification. Do not treat it as confirmation that a Steam demo save will appear in an Xbox or Microsoft Store version. If changing storefront is your plan, verify that exact transfer path before choosing where to continue.

Coming through Game Pass?
Xbox's November 3 announcement lists VOID/BREAKER for November 4 on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC, naming Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. Use the entitlement shown for your subscription and device; the announcement is not a promise that every tier provides every delivery method.
Neither that listing nor the Steam bonus notice establishes a Supporter's Pack grant for subscription players. If the game is already included in your plan, check that access first rather than buying a Steam copy solely because you saw a launch-bonus headline.
What to check before starting
November 4 is the announced full-release date. This report does not establish an exact regional unlock hour or confirm that the update is already downloadable on every platform. Check your chosen storefront for its current release state, then distinguish three separate items: the game entitlement, the saved progress you want to retain, and any Steam-only extras.
That is the cleanest way into 1.0: existing Steam owners update their purchase; demo players verify their continuation route; subscribers check their library. The announcement supplies access rules, not a performance verdict, and Gamer-Z has not tested the release build.
