THE WOLF AMONG US / RETURNING PLAYERS
The Wolf Among Us Remastered owner discount depends on where you bought the original.
Digital ownership, the original storefront and PlayStation Plus change the offer. Switch players have a separate wait.
Telltale's owner discount for The Wolf Among Us Remastered requires a qualifying digital copy of the original on the same store and account. Owning a disc or a copy elsewhere does not satisfy that rule. On PS5, PlayStation Plus membership also changes the advertised saving, so the headline 'up to 50%' is not every returning player's offer.
Find the original purchase first
Telltale lists 50% owner savings on Steam, Epic Games Store and Xbox, with the Xbox offer tied to the Xbox One digital original. PS5 owners qualify through the PS4 digital version: 50% with PlayStation Plus, or 30% without it. Physical originals are excluded because Telltale cannot verify them.
For someone who played on one console and now uses a PC, the useful first action is to find the old purchase record. Familiarity with Bigby's story is not the entitlement. Check the account that bought it before comparing the remaster across your current devices.

Check the displayed offer, not a calculated price
The official offer runs October 29 to November 12, 2026, starting and ending at 6 a.m. Pacific, with regional and storefront variations. Steam and PS5 show the owner price on the store page; Epic also applies it at checkout, while Xbox applies it at checkout.
Sign into the qualifying account and inspect the actual offer before paying. If the expected reduction is absent, stop and use the store's support route. Do not purchase at full price on the assumption that a later refund or price correction is guaranteed.
This is Bigby's first case, with extras
The remaster returns to the original Fabletown murder investigation. Telltale's October 26 announcement describes five playable Lost Scenes, a gallery of more than 100 images, over an hour of developer interviews and a black-and-white Noir Mode. The separately announced sequel is planned for 2027.
Those additions are a clearer basis for a returning player's decision than treating a discount as an automatic reason to replay. Watch the official story trailer for the presentation, but keep the question of how it performs on your hardware open: promotional footage is not a technical test.

Switch is outside this launch window
The October 26 announcement gives October 29 for PS5, Xbox One and PC through Steam and Epic. Xbox Series X|S uses backward compatibility. Nintendo Switch follows at an unannounced later date, and physical editions are due in early 2027.
That newer notice supersedes the earlier October 8 announcement that included Switch in the October 29 launch. Switch discount details are still forthcoming. Do not use the current owner-offer window as a Nintendo release countdown.
Publisher terms checked October 29, 2026. Regional checkout prices were not tested. Recheck before purchase, when terms change, or before the November 12 offer ends.
