Stormforge puts a storm shelter at the heart of its November 10 launch

Roboto Games has set a firm Early Access time and outlined the first release. Its crystal pillar connects base protection with a useful crafting rule.

A home inside the storm

Stormforge is targeting November 10 at 1 p.m. Central for its Steam Early Access launch, with solo play and co-op for up to eight players in the announced first release. Roboto Games' November 5 update pairs that time with a building spotlight. The detail worth watching is the crystal pillar: the studio describes it as both protection for your home and the center of a storage-to-crafting radius.

One pillar, two reasons to settle down

Stormforge's world of Sorana has two different kinds of trouble. Its store description presents local storms as open-world dungeon encounters: bring down a crystal's protection, defeat its guards and break the crystal to clear that storm. Roaming chaos storms sweep across the map, creating a separate reason to find shelter and protect a base with a magical shield.

That makes the house more than somewhere to leave a chest. Roboto says players can construct a home piece by piece or move into an abandoned village house, then place a crystal pillar at its heart. Chests within the pillar's radius also supply crafting materials directly. A group deciding where to settle is therefore choosing a place for both protection and nearby crafting supplies. The public description does not give that radius a numerical distance.

The announced first release has a defined scope

The November 5 launch list names three biomes, three boss fights, five character classes and six building sets, alongside one-to-eight-player co-op. These are developer-stated launch plans. They do not establish how stable an eight-player session will be or how long any particular group will take to explore it.

For builders, the store describes round walls and floors, basic and advanced snapping, free placement and overlapping pieces. It also lists one-button stacking into matching chests and free gear repairs. Those details give the building spotlight a practical question to answer: how readily can a group arrange a working shelter around its pillar? Watch the official footage for that relationship rather than treating a roadmap image as a list of features already delivered.

Put the launch time on the right clock

Roboto's announcement gives November 10 at 11 a.m. Pacific, 7 p.m. GMT and 8 p.m. Central European Time. That is 19:00 UTC, 1 p.m. Central Standard Time and 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The store was still marked coming soon when checked on November 6. A target time is not evidence that downloads are already available.

Early Access also matters to the decision. The launch list defines the announced starting point; later additions remain development plans. If the shelter-and-storage loop is what interests your group, the useful next step is the building spotlight and the current Steam listing. This is reporting from Roboto's announcement and documentation, not a hands-on assessment of building, storm balance or multiplayer performance.
