Titan Quest II's Standard and Ultimate console preorders both include 96 hours of advance access. The announced head start begins as early as January 15, 2027, before the January 19 launch. Ultimate adds the original Titan Quest and two expansions for immediate play; it does not unlock Titan Quest II today.
Three meanings of early access
On console, the preorder benefit is a short window before the full release. On PC, Titan Quest II is already in development-stage Early Access, and THQ Nordic explicitly says there is no PC preorder. Ultimate's immediate access refers to the original game. These are three different purchase propositions.
The September release announcement places the full PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release on January 19, 2027. It describes 1.0 as the end of Early Access, rather than a new name for the current PC build. Do not use today's PC footage to assume every feature or technical condition of the future console version.

Check the account that owns the original
The publisher lists a 10% loyalty discount alongside Standard for players who own the original Titan Quest digitally on Xbox or PlayStation. That wording does not establish eligibility for a disc copy, an ownership record on another platform, or a discount on Ultimate.
Inspect the edition and entitlement shown by your own storefront before checkout. This article does not quote a payable price or promise discount stacking. A product name in a library and a verified checkout entitlement are different kinds of evidence.

What the sequel's launch promise actually covers
THQ Nordic's Xbox feature describes six launch Masteries that can be paired into a hybrid class, along with cooperative play. Those are announced game features, not benefits reserved for Ultimate in the two-edition breakdown. The same article presents the full release as the conclusion of the story developed during PC Early Access.
That leaves a more useful decision than asking which edition sounds most complete: do you want Titan Quest II alone, or do you also want the earlier game now? Neither the preorder language nor promotional footage answers how the console release will perform. We have not tested it.
