Sample: which headset actually survived two years of daily use?
Sample content. Every headset I have owned has failed in the same two places: the headband padding disintegrates and one side of the cable goes intermittent. I am less interested in soundstage comparisons and more interested in which pairs are still working after two years of five-hours-a-day use, and whether the manufacturer actually honoured a warranty claim when something did break.

Sample reply. The pattern I have seen is that replaceable earpads and a detachable cable matter more than anything on the spec sheet, because those are the two parts that fail. If a model has neither, it is disposable regardless of how it sounds on day one.
